The following article analyzes the presentation of Empress Theodora – wife Emperor Justinian and most popular woman in history Byzantium contemporary Latin sources. Victor Tunnuna, Liberatus Carthage, author selected biographies Liber Pontificalis focused their works primarily on issues religious policy empire described person ruler throughout this prism.
